Friendly Dancers

At Alive4Jive we have a really friendly and welcoming bunch of dancers who are always ready to help new dancers settle in and learn the basics. During the lessons we encourage people to swap dance partners. This serves two purposes: a) it helps everyone get to know everyone else in the hall; and b) it helps people to learn the dances quicker.(which is more fun for everyone). But if you really want to stay with one partner that is absolutely fine with us.

A Great Venue
|
The Phoenix Suite at Club Chesterfield has a great dance floor. It’s clean and tidy and just perfect for modern jive. The bar staff are friendly and the beer is cheap! And there is even air conditioning so you won’t overheat while you are dancing!

We have a great team of skilled staff who are always ready to help people feel comfortable at Alive4Jive Nights. They will help you with moves you can’t quite pick up and are always keen to dance with you - especially if you are new to our venue. Please do not hesitate to ask our staff for any advice or guidance. We are all here to make your night that little bit more special
